Well, I'm done with my college classes... maybe forever. Yesterday I provided my final contribution as a UMD student; I presented a few slides for my group's final project and was in charge of the slide clicker 😎 Then, after listening to 5 other groups present on basically the same exact topic, my LAST last day of class was complete.
I don't really feel much different right now. Honestly, I feel kinda confused because my schedule is now so free. I have no assignments to complete and only two exams to study for next week. The good news is that I have plenty of stuff to fill this time with! I'll be researching/emailing/calling potential hosts and mission projects for the Summer, figuring out what I'm doing after we finish in August, relaxing and hanging with friends, and I really need to get some more miles on the bike 😅
I want to give a huge thank you to all of you who have been a part of my life as a student. I'm extremely humbled by and gracious for the experiences that have all led me to this moment. It's so crazy to think about all the decisions we make and the results that follow... who knows how different my life would be if I didn't come to UMD. Or what if I never joined the Red Cross Club and thus never saw that GroupMe message to join 4K? I don't know if can put into words how thankful I am that all these little moments have lined up perfectly but maybe I'll figure it out someday. For now, I'll just appreciate the complexity of it all and do my best to enjoy the life I get to live.
So, without further ado, I have ~18 miles calling my name and a bike fit with Proteus after!!
