Thank you.

$5,000+ raised for the Ulman Foundation and young adults with cancer!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

Although it didn't take much convincing for me to sign up for 4K last Summer, I was definitely intimidated by the $5,000 fundraising requirement. Just 10 months ago, the only fundraising experience I had was handing my mom gift cards for her to sell to her friends to benefit my high school soccer team. From my first donation -- courtesy of my inspiring aunt, "Zz" -- in July to my most recent that brought me across the $5k threshold, -- fittingly from my cousin, Steven in California -- I've received donations big and small from 60+ family members, friends, and strangers to get me over the requirement that seemed so ambitious when I committed to this adventure. The whole experience has been unbelievable and truly can't thank you all enough for being a part of it, but I will certainly try!

To celebrate this incredible collective achievement, I'm doing a "ride-a-thon" on Tuesday, March 21st where I will be setting out to ride a minimum of 89 miles for the 89,000 young adults diagnosed with cancer every year. I would be honored to have your continued support throughout this ride and if we can raise $200 by the time I hit mile 89, I'll keep riding 1 minute for every additional dollar donated (i.e., $260 --> 1 hour... $300 --> 1hr and 40 minutes... etc).

Because I have gotten so much joy and fulfillment from fundraising and working with Ulman, the only logical progression I see is to keep going. To make it even more fun, I came up with rewards/punishments for every $1,000 milestone until $10,000.

Here's the breakdown of all the milestones:

I explain each one in more detail below.

For $6,000 raised I will wear my bike helmet all day, everywhere I go for 3 days.

At $7,000 I'll get my first every tattoo! Y'all are buying, so you get to choose.
When the time comes I'll post a poll for suggestions which will then be voted on by everyone!

For $8,000 y'all get to choose a new hair color for me to rock for a little while...

If we reach $9,000, would you rather see me with a perm or mullet?
The hair might be mine but the choice is yours!

And of course, for $10,000, I'll get rid of my newly dyed and styled mane.

Follow my instagram/facebook to bear witness to all these milestones starting with the ride-a-thon on Tuesday! Thanks again for supporting and inspiring me throughout this journey <3

Happily,

Hayden
